Michael Meidenbauer

Michael Meidenbauer serves on the faculty at Skidmore and Schenectady County Community Colleges and maintains a private low brass studio. He is Bass Trombonist with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic and the Excelsior Trombone Ensemble. Prior to his current positions, he taught band in the New York State public schools. Mr. Meidenbauer is a graduate of the Crane School of Music and the Indiana University School of Music.

This clinic is designed to provide solutions to common issues seen in the trombone student. Troubleshooting the embouchure, tone production, articulation and slide technique will be among the areas addressed.
