Summer is just around the corner, so why not plan to spend a couple days in Ithaca, NY? NYSBDA is again teaming up with the Conn Selmer Institute to offer the CSI Northeast conference on August 11th and 12th. Enjoy sessions on rehearsal techniques, advocacy, instrument techniques and even a few reading sessions. The conference ends with a performance by Melvin Jones, Trumpet, Bach Artist and Jason Curry, Saxophone, Yanagisawa Artist.
To round out the event, you can add on the Wednesday night excursion at Ithaca Beer Company to surround yourself with fellow music teachers before heading out of town.
